Nicole Beach is currently studying journalism with a minor in marketing at Hampton University and is on track to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in May 2026. Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Nicole grew up immersed in the city's vibrant culture and diverse communities.

As a published author, Nicole has been recognized for her impactful work, including a notable collaboration with the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), where she reported on how the climate crisis threatens health in India. This experience deepened her understanding of global issues and the role of journalism in shaping public policy. Additionally, she gained invaluable experience working with Edelman, the world's largest public relations firm, where she contributed to three key accounts, further honing her skills in strategic communications and media relations.

Upon earning her bachelor’s degree, Nicole aims to attend USC Annenberg, in partnership with the London School of Economics and Political Science, to pursue an MSc in Global Communication. Her goal is to deepen her expertise in journalism and public relations, allowing her to apply her skills to address a wide range of issues.

On campus, Nicole actively participates in various organizations, including serving as the social media co-lead for WHOV-TV for the past three years. She is also a proud member of the Freddye T. Davy Honors College, the National Association of Black Journalists, and PRSSA. Additionally, she is a Spr'24 initiate into the Gamma Theta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.
